Week 6 Student Reflections

Week 6 Reflection Prompt

In at least 150 words to receive full credit, consider the following questions to create a reflection for Week 6 of the Quarter 3 project. 

• Have you found an interview subject?
• Have you completed the interview?
• Are you finished with the other assessments that have been due so far?
• How far are you in your reading of the book you've chosen?
• Have you started to think about putting together your final project?
• What (if anything) do you want Ms. Leffers to know about your progress?

Student 1: Making Macaroons

Yes, I have already interviewed the person I wanted to interview, and I got great Feedback. Yes, I have completed and turned in the interview at first, I thought it was going to be difficult because I was thinking we had to do it in person but then I found out we didn't have to. Yes, the only thing I have to do is the final project it will take me a while though but good thing I finish all the other assignments. I finished my book, and it was very good I loved every single part of it. Yes, I'm currently working on it and thinking about making macaroons so the class can try while I'm presenting hopefully, they turn out great cause sometimes they do. The way I'm going to do my final project is by doing a presentation off of Canva, so it looks creative. Well, my progress is going well, and I recommend others to do this project.

Student 2: Adverse Childhood Experiences

I have a few people in mind to interview but have not yet done them, I am trying to figure out what I am going to ask. I have done all of the other assessments that were previously due. I havent chose a book yet but i am working on finding a good choice with information I need. I have thought about how I am going to put all of the informatiion I have gathered together in a research paper. I am doing good but I need to do a couple more things before I can complete the project, I am having trouble finding a reasonably priced book that is of the quality I need.

Student 3: The Fermi Paradox

I have found the people I want to interview, where I did an in-person interview for one person and the two other people's interview (which had the same questions) were done through e-mail. I have gathered all the answers, and I have already completed the interview and turned it in. The other assessments (the documentary, podcast, project proposal) have all been finished and turned in already. The book I've chosen has also already been read and finished, as it is a book I've read before and have finished rereading it. I'm already starting to put together my final project, where I am researching on the various parts pertaining to my project, and having the information written on a word document. I am organizing the informaiton into powerpoint slides, which will be my final project. I think I'm in a pretty good spot with my project right now, so there isn't anything worth mentioning currently.
